This commitment is realized through a diverse range of charitable initiatives, with the intention of making a positive impact on individuals at both local and national levels, with a particular emphasis on supporting veterans, current service members, first responders, and police officers.

Tim Thornton, the visionary behind Tactical Electronics, serves as both the founder and proprietor of the company. Specializing in providing military and law enforcement agencies with cutting-edge EOD tools, CIED Training, and Tactical Inspection Cameras, Tim is not only a business owner but also an accomplished inventor and a recognized expert in counterterrorism.
Embarking on his journey in the field twenty-five years ago, Tim initially served as an Instructor at the Independent Intelligence Agency. It was during this time that he imparted special forces techniques and identified a significant gap in the availability of tools essential for achieving intelligence and military objectives. Motivated by a desire to address this void and enhance the safety of responders and government agencies, Tim took to building the first products in his garage, laying the foundation for Tactical Electronics.
Duane Stokes is the Vice President of Global Sales for Tactical Electronics. Duane manages a domestic and international sales team providing unique products, services, and training to top-tier international military and police Special Operations teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and enhance client’s mission capabilities.
Duane is a retired Police Special Operations Commander with 16 years of Pole Special Operations experience for a US police agency. He commanded the Special Operations Division, which included the full-time Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, K9 unit, Mounted Patrol Unit, Vice and Narcotics Unit, Maritime Unit, and Dive Team with numerous high risk and complex mission experience. In addition, he was the Tactical Command in over 100 high-risk tactical operations that included hostage situations, barricaded subjects, protective details, active shooters, etc.
Duane has numerous specialized certifications and obtained various tactical instructorships such as sniper, CQB and dive operations. With his vast special operations experience coupled with the past 12+ years with Tactical Electronics, he is skilled in providing specialized solutions that offer comprehensive solutions and program development/execution solutions to a wide range of international clients.
Brenton Leete grew up in Wichita, KS and received his degree in Accounting from Wichita State University in 2008. Before his tenure at Tactical Electronics, he gained valuable experience working as an external auditor at Grant Thornton and as a financial analyst at Hawker Beechcraft. In 2009, Brenton became part of the Tactical Electronics team.
Throughout his time at Tactical Electronics, he has risen to the position of lead auditor for the ISO team. In late 2018, he assumed the role of Controller, which encompasses responsibility for both Finance and Accounting across the entire organization.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Brenton is an active volunteer within the communities he has been a part of. He has contributed his time as a youth athletic head coach, supported Habitat for Humanity, and assumed a youth leadership role within his church. Furthermore, during the spring, he dedicates a significant portion of his free time to pursuing weather phenomena across the central United States, reporting for local television stations and the Associated Press.
Ron Barber obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Arkansas and earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Tulsa. He holds licenses to practice law in both Oklahoma and Arkansas, including admission to the US District and US Tax Courts. He is an active member of several Bar Associations, including Tulsa County, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and the American Bar Association. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant and holds memberships with the Oklahoma Society and the American Institute of CPAs.
Ron serves as the originator, Director, and President of Barber & Bartz, PC, focusing on various legal areas, including Tax, Estate Planning, Business Organizations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Nonprofit Organizations, and Private Foundations. He has taken on roles as an officer and director within both private and public companies and has been actively involved on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations. Ron Barber also dedicated 14 years of service on the Board of Education for Jenks Public Schools.
Vicki and her husband Mat own Drum World Tulsa which has been in operation for 32 years. Drum World Tulsa is a retail percussion store and a teaching studio accommodating five instructors and 320 students per week. For ten years Mat and Vicki used their business as a platform to raise awareness regarding food insecurity in Oklahoma through annual charity events. They collected several tons of food over the years which benefited the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
Vicki says she has a servant's heart and loves to be helpful to others whenever possible. After learning about the mission of TE FORCE she was invited to become a board member where she brings with her years of experience collaborating with mission minded organizations.
She has been married to Mat for 37 years. Mat is a talented musician playing in several brands around the Greater Tulsa area and Vicki can often be found supporting him at his numerous gigs.
Erin Dory presently holds the role of Executive Director at Tactical Electronics for Community Engagement. She graduated with honors from Northeastern State University, achieving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and complementing it with a minor in Marketing. Actively involved in her community, Erin is a Rotary Member and a recent graduate of Leadership Broken Arrow. Her dedication to service is evident not only through her previous position on the mission’s board of her church but also in the time she devotes to volunteering for various organizations. Among the years these have included Brightspot Mobile Family Services, Bixby Outreach Center, and Broken Arrow Neighbors, among others. Before assuming her current role, she worked in insurance administration at St. John Medical Center and collaborated on a website editing project as an employee for Lockheed Martin.
Her decades long experience with outreach and volunteering has kindled a passion in nonprofit work. As the Executive Director she searches for thoughtful and intentional ways to develop relationships within the community. As such, Ms. Dory seeks out ways to engage and foster relationships with those that the Foundation serves.
Heath, a retired police officer, boasts an impressive 20-year career, with a remarkable 17-year tenure as a SWAT Operator and Tactical Commander. Having dedicated over a decade to Tactical Electronics, he presently holds the position of Outside Sales Rep. Heath is unwavering in his conviction that there is no nobler calling than serving others. For him, a substantial aspect of this service involves extending a helping hand to those who are less fortunate or in need. His commitment to making a positive impact on lives is further evidenced by his active participation in the TE FORCE foundation.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Heath leads a dynamic life beyond the confines of work. A passionate cyclist, he can often be found competing in regional competitions. Furthermore, Heath embraces the great outdoors through activities such as cooking, paddleboarding, and various outdoor pursuits. Heath brings a wealth of experience to his professional role but also exemplifies a commitment to personal well-being and community service.
Julie has spent the majority of her career as VP of Human Resources and Administration followed by VP of Marketing and Sales Operations at Paragon Films for over 20 years. She has also served on the Board of Directors of a variety of charitable organizations in the Tulsa area.
As a co-owner of Tactical Electronics, with her husband Tim, she utilizes her expertise to assist anywhere there might be a need.
Tactical Electronics for Community Engagement originated from the Thornton’s dedication to assisting others during challenging times, coupled with a deep appreciation and respect for the military and first responder communities, showcasing a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
In her recent retirement, Julie has focused on a true passion, archaeology, and is in the process of completing her PhD in Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology. She has participated in excavations in Jordan and Israel and is currently focused on ancient Shiloh.
Julie is also the Tour and Booking Manager for Weston Horn & the Hush and assists numerous local bands with their booking and administrative needs.
Weston Horn currently serves as Project Manager at Tactical Electronics. Previously he served as the Vice President of Infinity Investigations & Protective Services, an insurance fraud and private security firm, since 2011. Through Infinity, Horn assisted security direction for multiple major motion pictures and TV shows and was the on-site security director for Scorsese’s: “Killers of the Flower Moon (2022)”. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing as well as obtaining an Emergency Medical Technician degree from Rogers State University.
While attending college, he joined the Air Force Auxiliary as a member of a search and rescue team that conducted missions spanning the region. He remained in the Auxiliary for five years completing numerous search and rescue/recovery missions, advancing to the rank of Major, and being promoted to squadron cadet commander. Weston was also instrumental in the success and enrichment of “The Reenactment of The Changing of The Guard Ceremony”, allowing him to travel to Arlington National Cemetery and be one of only a handful of people to ever train with the 3rd Infantry under the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier.
In addition to his other responsibilities, he also serves as the lead vocalist for the regional band, Weston Horn & The Hush. This eight-member original rock and roll group, featuring a four-piece horn and brass section that has achieved significant acclaim since its formation in 2016.
